Tony Parkinson, CPA
Managing Director
I have
enjoyed a 35-year career which includes being a partner in a venture capital
firm, several senior C-level positions in early-stage companies sold to Fortune
100 and an international conglomerate. I
began my career with a Big 4 accounting firm in the NYC area before relocating
to South Florida and joining a Consulting Firm specializing in strategic
development and raising debt and equity for middle market companies with high
growth potential. I then formed my own
consulting firm that has provided interim CFO services companies providing
short-term and long-term forecasts, assisting in mergers & acquisitions,
and raising capital.
I have a
unique perspective on raising capital - having been an officer of companies
looking for debt and equity and being a partner in VC company providing growth capital.
This has given me keen insights on how to structure deals that make sense to
both parties.
I have
worked with companies in diverse industries including manufacturers of
proprietary products, sensors and analytical software used on the Internet of
Things (IoT), architectural millwork and casework, value added distributors,
Software as a Service (SaaS), construction firms, and business service
companies.
I graduated
from Lafayette College, Easton, PA. with BA of Economics and I am a Certified
Public Accountant. I also was the Past Chairman and member of the Executive
Committee of Goodwill Industries of Broward County, President of the Broward
Chapter of the Florida Institute of Certified Public Accountants, and board
member of the local chapters of Associate of Corporate Growth (ACG), Institute
of Management Accountants, and Secured Lenders.
