CFA Welcomes Roger Szafranski to the San Francisco Office
Los Angeles, CA - May 26, 2016 - Corporate Finance Associates is pleased to announce that Roger Szafranski has joined the San Francisco office as a Managing Director. He brings with him a solid industrial and distribution background that will serve our clients well.
Roger is a serial entrepreneur with over 20 years of experience operating his own private equity firm. He has personally acquired and successfully operated middle market companies in manufacturing, distribution, industrial service and technology. Roger understands the human element as well as the financial and operating challenges involved in value added investment banking.
Roger was President and owner of Precision Specialties, LLC, a master distributor of specialty components for electric motors; Cypress Multigraphics, Inc. a pressure sensitive label manufacturer servicing the outdoor power equipment and home appliance industries; Cypress Industries, Inc. an industrial service company providing on-site machining, specialty welding, valve repair and babbitt bearing refurbishment to the power generation industry and major process manufacturers throughout the world; President of Pentron Inc., the nation's largest tank trailer service and parts distribution business; President of Mercury Products, Inc., an automotive and heavy duty truck parts OEM; and President of Elamet Technologies Inc., a thin film technology company providing EMI/RFI shielding to the personal computer and telecommunications industries.
Roger has extensive senior management and international experience in Europe and Southeast Asia. He also spent eleven years in executive positions with Gould Inc., including Director of Operations of the copper foil, flexible circuits and semiconductor tape automated bonding operations.
He is a graduate of Northwestern University, the University of Chicago Graduate School of Business, and is a Certified Public Accountant.
