Dr. Patrick Schmidl has extensive experience from his time as an Investment Director for a private equity company. He was also an M&A consultant for the investment bank Rothschild and is a founding Managing Partner of Deutsche Mittelstandsfinanz GmbH. Through his operational experience for the chemical company Clariant, he also understands the practical needs and requirements on the corporate side. Patrick Schmidl was Managing Director of CS Consulting GmbH, the group holding of one of the largest German IT consulting companies for banks and insurance companies and was a member of the supervisory board of CS Consulting AG.
Patrick Schmidl studied business administration at WHU Koblenz, in the MBA program at Texas A&M University and at the Université Libre de Bruxelles. He received the degree Dr. rer.pol. for his doctoral thesis on the internationalization of long-term corporate finance. Patrick Schmidl is a member of Bundesverband Mergers & Acquisitionss, the German federal association M&A.
