Bob Decker is a Senior Advisor in the CFA Lexington, Kentucky office. Bob's CFA practice is primarily focused on helping middle market business owners in Louisville, Kentucky and Southern Indiana, with particular emphasis on helping them to reach their goals of growth and/or divestiture.
Bob is a seasoned finance professional with over forty years of experience in corporate finance, mergers and acquisitions, and operational management. His career includes ten years with an international boutique investment bank specializing in the hospitality, gaming and leisure industries, and before that in a number of senior financial management positions in the hospitality and gaming industries, including six years as EVP & CFO of Churchill Downs, Inc.
Bob's experience as both an investment banker and as a senior financial management professional gives him a unique insight into the business challenges faced by CFA's clients and prospective clients.
Bob has a BS degree from Florida State University, is a Certified Public Accountant and resides in Louisville, Kentucky with his wife, Ann. He is active in community affairs in Louisville and has served on the board of directors of various professional and civic organizations.
