During my over fifty years in corporate finance, I have been
fortunate to have worked with the owners and senior management of middle market
companies in Philadelphia, Chicago and since 1980 in Florida. My proudest
moments are when I worked for lending institutions that understood the vision
and the perseverance it takes to build an organization that can grow a
successful enterprise. My decades of
experience have included hundreds of engagements in many industries. I have
worked with family-owned businesses as well as more broadly owned private and
public corporations, helping them access capital driven by various objectives.
After many years in traditional banking and fieldwork, mainly
focused on the debt side in the alternative lending industry (ABL and
Factoring), I started to work in high growth middle market M&A reconnecting
with many of the owners and management teams that I financed as a lender. Together with my partners, we've executed a
multitude of deals on behalf of many talented owner-operators and
entrepreneurs, connecting them with the capital and financial services they
need to grow their companies.
Over the years, I have become very active as a member of the
Association for Corporate Growth (ACG) serving as President of South Florida,
as well as Chairman of both the ACG International Board of Directors and
InterGrowth, the ACG's annual conference. In my 32 years with ACG, I've been
credited with starting ten new chapters in North America and several in Europe.
I have been active in both youth athletics as a coach and
board member of the Florida High School Ice Hockey League. I am also serving on
the Board of Directors of "The 22 Project" which provides hyperbaric oxygen
treatments (HBOT) for veterans that suffer from PTS and Traumatic Brain
Injuries. I proudly served six years (1970-1976) in the United States Marine
Corps and am an active member of the Marine Corps League in South Florida. A
great joy of mine has been to participate in several Honor Flights to
Washington DC, hosting and accompanying individual WWII Veterans to make the
journey from Florida to the US Capital where they take part in meaningful
ceremonies, and receive accolades for their courage and service.
