Jim Zipursky is the Chairman & CEO of CFAW. In addition,
Jim is the Managing Director of CFAW's Omaha office; he joined his father,
Morley, at CFA in 1990. Under Jim's leadership, the Omaha office has been named
"CFAW Office of the Year" 10 times. During his career at CFAW, Jim has
been named "CFAW Dealmaker of the Year" four times, and Jim was
responsible for closing "CFAW's Largest Transaction in History," a transaction
involving Berkshire Hathaway. Jim has led the successful completion of
approximately 200 transactions since joining CFAW.
Jim has served on the Board of Directors of the Nebraska
Chapter of the Association for Corporate Growth as well as on the Advisory
Council of the International Business Law Consortium. Under his leadership,
CFAW expanded its global footprint extensively, adding member offices in Mexico
and throughout Western and Central Europe.
Prior to joining CFA, Jim founded, operated and sold a
specialized temporary help agency in the Washington DC area. He also worked for
Electronic Data Systems before starting his own business. Jim is a graduate of
the University of California, Berkeley.
