Jim Class has over 30 years of
experience helping business owners obtain the capital they need to succeed.
Jim's career includes working for
regional divisions of E.F. Hutton Credit, GE Capital, and Bank of America,
Capital One, and SunTrust Bank. He originated equipment financing in the
Corporate, Middle Market, and Business Banking market segments. During his 14-year career at Bank of America,
Jim managed the Business Banking and Equipment Leasing Division servicing the central
United States.
Jim has originated more than $500
million dollars of capital used for equipment finance, vehicle leasing, and
working capital during his career. As a
generalist, he has assisted clients in a variety of industries including
agriculture, construction, corporate aviation, distribution, higher education,
highway construction, hospitality, energy, fast food, healthcare,
manufacturing, marine, medical, printing, oil & gas, telecommunications,
and transportation. Jim has secured funding for both commonly used business
equipment and one-of-kind highly specialized equipment including specialty
vehicles and aircraft.
Jim's clients range from
profitable Middle Market family-owned firms to investment grade multi-national
publicly traded firms with revenues ranging from $10 million to more than $14
billion. Transactions have ranged from $500,000 to over $125 million. In
addition, he has advised with capital for Special Situations including a $125MM
fleet of aircraft for both a global leader in the computer chip industry and a
national air medical transport company.
