Edemir Gonçalves is an entrepreneur, founding partner, and CEO of Brubar M&A, as well as an experienced business consultant. His main clients are family businesses in the middle market throughout Brazil, but primarily in the state of São Paulo, which ranks among the top twenty largest economies in the world and is the third largest economy and GDP in Latin America.
From a young age, he discovered his natural aptitude for negotiation and took on the sales department of his family's company in the graphic sector, and later in the corrugated cardboard packaging sector, developing products and business throughout the state of São Paulo. Before founding Brubar M&A, he also served as a director in other companies, always in strategic areas of buying and selling.
He holds a degree in Real Estate Transactions from the Regional Council of Real Estate Brokers, an autonomous body of the Federative Republic of Brazil, a condition granted to him by Federal Law No. 6,530 of May 12, 1978. He conceived, implemented, and exclusively negotiated one of the first private business condominiums in the interior of São Paulo, the Alphanorth Industrial in Piracicaba, with all 269 units sold.
Edemir has over 30 years of experience in corporate business, mergers and acquisitions, and business consulting. He has been involved in numerous negotiations, advising both buyers and sellers. Throughout his career, he has originated and executed major deals with significant companies in the Energy, Sugar and Alcohol, Wind Energy, Food, Technology, Goods and Capital Industries, Real Estate Development, Urban Development, Infrastructure, and Retail sectors, among others. He has gained extensive experience and interest in the transportation and logistics sector, where he originated and facilitated two of the largest acquisitions in recent years for one of the largest transportation and logistics groups in Brazil, involving approximately US$ 500 million.
