Brad Purifoy is an accomplished Investment Banking Professional with over 30 years of executive experience in investment banking, Fortune 500 corporate finance, and Big 4 public accounting. Transactions include full company sales, mergers, partial sales/recapitalizations, senior lending, sub-lending, asset sales, stock sales, and both sell-side and buy-side representation. His transaction experience includes manufacturing, distribution, and business services companies. Mr. Purifoy was honored as the Sole 2013 finalist for Dallas Business Journal Merger and Acquisition Awards Investment Banker / Intermediary of the Year. Mr. Purifoy currently serves as a Board of Directors Executive Advisory member for the Dallas / Fort Worth chapter of the Association for Corporate Growth (ACG has over 14,000 members worldwide dedicated to corporate growth through mergers and acquisitions). Brad served as chapter president (2011-2012), and long time board member of ACG.
In addition to his years with Corporate Finance Associates, Mr. Purifoy's investment banking experience includes positions of Senior Vice President for BKD Corporate Finance, Managing Director for Westlake Securities, and Senior Vice President for Allegiance Capital Corporation.
Previous to his successful 15+ year investment banking career, Mr. Purifoy served in executive roles including: Director of Finance for Burlington Northern Railroad Company, where he completed corporate financings in excess of $1 billion; Director of U.S. Taxes for Flowserve Corporation, a $4.5 billion worldwide flow-control manufacturing company; Senior Tax Manager for KPMG (Big 4 Accounting firm), where he managed all aspects of tax engagements for a manufacturing, distribution, and retail client base; and Tax Manager for Deloitte (Big 4 Accounting firm) where he managed client relationships for diverse client base including manufacturing, real estate, banking and other service industries.
Mr. Purifoy holds FINRA series 79 and 63 licenses, is a Texas licensed Certified Public Accountant, and graduate of Texas A&M University with Bachelor of Business Administration and Master of Science degrees in accounting.
Mr. Purifoy is a leader in the Association for Corporate Growth, the merger and acquisition industry's middle market 14,000 member association. He currently serves on the Executive Advisory Committee to the Board of Directors for the 750+ member Dallas / Fort Worth Chapter. Brad has served ACG in a number of executive and officer positions including sitting as long term active ACG board member, Immediate Past President, and President when the chapter doubled the number of ACG events, increased frequency of networking meetings, expanded into Fort Worth market, expanded charitable event, and increased scholarships and charitable commitments. Brad also served prior to this as chapter President Elect, Director Investment Banking, Vice President Awards and Sponsorships, Vice President of Corporate Membership.
