Bill is a seasoned advisor to middle and lower middle market
companies, advocating for business owners on divestiture, merger, acquisition,
or recapitalization opportunities. Prior to joining CFA Bill was a wealth
advisor at a large regional bank where he was responsible for assisting clients
with business exit planning, developing captive insurance companies and developing
estate planning and transition plans for family-owned companies. He continues
that work at CFA.
He holds the FINRA Series 63 and Series 79 licenses. earned
his B.A. in International Business and Economics at the University of Mount
Union. Bill recently completed the Mergers & Acquisitions Executive program
at Columbia Business School. He is also a Certified Mergers & Acquisitions
Advisor with the Alliance of Mergers & Acquisitions Advisors, an
international professional accreditation organization.
Active in civic service and industry trade groups, Bill is a
member of the Naples, FL Chamber of Commerce, the Association for Corporate
Growth (Tampa Bay) and the Alliance of Mergers & Acquisition Advisors
(Tampa Bay). He is currently a Trustee of Hebron Academy (Hebron, ME). Bill has
been on the boards of 10 nonprofits over the years, and served as president of
two of those nonprofit boards. He currently sits on the Finance Committee of
three nonprofit boards. Bill is a founder and former CEO of Maine Policy
Center, a free market economic think tank and public policy advocate.
